EARLY-BIRD Pre-Registration: 1 division-$69; 2 divisions-$89 (expires Midnight, November 14)
LATE Pre-Registration: 1 division-$75; 2 divisions-$95 (expires Midnight, November 19)
ON-SITE Registration: 1 divisions-$80; 2 divisions-$100 (available November 20 & 21 at the venue)
FRIDAY, November 20 - Night Before Weigh-Ins & On-Site Registration
All competitors have the option of weighing-in on Friday or Saturday.
5 - 8 pm: Night before weigh-ins and on-site registration will be held at the venue. Weigh-ins will be open to all competitors regardless if you pre-registered. DO NOT BE LATE; scales will close at 8 pm Friday!
SATURDAY, November 21 - Weigh-Ins & On-Site Registration
If you cannot make it for Friday weigh-ins, you can weigh-in on Saturday starting at 8 am. Adults can always show up earlier than their recommended weigh-in time; but they are not required to. You DO NOT have to weigh-in with your Gi on.
Kids/Teens Grapplers:
10 am: Start of Kids/Teens tournament (Gi divisions first, then No-Gi)
Adult Grapplers:
11-12 noon: Adult Gi Weigh-Ins (Scales close at 12 for Adult Gi)
1 pm: Start of Adult Gi tournament
1-2 pm: Adult No-Gi Weigh-Ins (Scales close at 2 pm for Adult No-Gi)
3 pm: Start of Adult Gi tournament matches
You MUST be ON TIME! When planning drive time for your trip you MUST take into account traffic and the possibility of getting lost so you are not late. If you are late for weigh-ins you wil be disqualified.
Spectator Tickets:
OPTION 1: Pre-Order Tickets Online: $10 - Pre-Ordered tickets MUST BE purchased by Midnight, Thursday, November 19th. Tickets are Will-Call only & will NOT be mailed. You can pick them up at the event.
OPTION 2: At The Door Tickets: $15 - Tickets purchased the night before or the day of the event will be $15.
When you go through the online Pre-Registration process you will also have the opportunity to purchase spectator tickets at the $10 discounted rate or you can purchase them through the link at the top of this page.
Children under 48" get in to all of The Good Fight tournaments for free!
SWORDS will be awarded to ALL 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners. 1st Place: 40" Sword
Awards & Divisions:
2nd Place: 30" Sword
3rd Place: 20" Sword
All kids/teens competitors who do not place will receive a participation medal.
THE GOOD FIGHT: Thanksgiving Throwdown II will have both Gi and No-Gi Divisions.
The competition will follow a single elimination format.
We will allow a consolation match for any competitor wishing to receive a second match. This will give all competitors a chance to grapple at least 2 matches per division they sign up for, if they desire to do so.
PLEASE NOTE: Absolute Divisions are single elimination with no consolation match.
We have divisions for Kids, Teens, Men & Women. We will create executive divisions if there are enough men ages 35 and up at the same weight. Our rules have been developed with safety and sportsmanship as our highest priority to ensure a fun and safe experience for all of our Jiu Jitsu competitors.
DIRECTIONS to the Venue:
From Atlantic City:
At exit 38, turn left onto Sicklerville-Williamstown Road. Follow this road, across the Black Horse Pike (Geets Diner is on your right). At the next traffic light bare right onto Rte. 322 West. Venue is 1/4 mile on your left.
From Philadelphia (Walt Whitman or Ben Franklin Bridge):
Follow all signs toward Atlantic City. Take 42 South to the Atlantic City Expressway. Take Exit 38 (toll .25), turn right onto Sicklerville-Williamstown Road. At third light (Geets Diner on right at Black Horse Pike) cross over Black Horse Pike. At the next light, bear right onto Route 322 West. Venue is approx. ¼ mile on the left.
From Delaware:
Take the Delaware Memorial Bridge to 295 North. Stay 295 North until 322 East Mullica Hill Exit. Follow 322 East through Mullica Hill & Glassboro. Continue to follow 322 East making a right on Delsea Drive and a left on Glassboro Road (Texaco Station). Stay on Rte 322 East into Williamstown. Venue is on the right ¼ mile after Heritage Store.
From New York and North Jersey:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 2. Make a right onto 322 East to Glassboro. Follow 322 East through Mullica Hill & Glassboro. Continue to follow 322 East making a right on Delsea Drive and a left on Glassboro Road (Texaco Station). Stay on Rte 322 East into Williamstown. Venue is on the right ¼ mile after Heritage Store.
